The Springfield South County Youth Club United Blue & United White Rising U11 Boys (DOB 08/01/97 - 07/31/98) travel teams compete in the National Capital Soccer League. We are looking for committed players to play at a competitive level. We will be holding tryouts for the upcoming Fall 2008/Spring 2009 seasons on Tuesday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 5th – 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Hooes Road Park Field #2, and on Tuesday, June 10th, 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Green Springs Field (7400-D Spring Village Drive, Springfield) off Fairfax County parkway same intersection as Hooes Road park, just the opposite direction onto Spring Village Drive, first left into parking lot, if you miss the turn you will enter the front gate for the retirement center. The teams are coached and trained by professional trainer, John O’Reilly. John O’Reilly played in the League of Ireland and spent time with Liverpool Football Club. Coach John holds a USSF C License and has trained and coached players of all ages for many years. The United teams practice twice a week during the fall and spring seasons & at least once a week during winter and summer. The United teams play 8 to 10 games during the fall and spring seasons depending on division size. Costs for each season are approximately $300 per season per person depending on roster size and other expense offsets. This cost includes SYC registration fees, travel league registration fees, uniforms, and tournament fees, and training fees.
