Tryouts for rising U19 boys!

Springfield Youth Club (SYC) Lightning, NCSL Division 2, is conducting tryouts June 11th and 21st in Springfield . Boys born on or after August 1, 1991 are eligible.

The Lightning is seeking dedicated and talented players for their year round program that is challenging and focused on technical development.

Our team is professionally trained and parent coached.  Our trainer is Andrei Guigu of GoldenBoot Soccer. Andrei played college soccer for George Mason University and he played for the U18 Romanian National Team. He played professionally for Sportul Studentesc FC D-1, Romania and Brecia FC, Italy. Andrei is a staff trainer for George Mason’s youth soccer program and an Olympic Development Program (ODP) evaluator. He holds a USSF “C” coaching license.
