REGISTER NOW FOR FALL FOOTBALL CHEER
TO ENSURE A SPOT ON A SQUAD!

·         Squad formations will be completed by August 1st with wait list for those unassigned.

·         Cheer uniforms will be distributed on several dates within the month of August to accommodate vacationing families.  Stay tuned for those dates.
 
·         Cheer Practices begin last week of August at the latest.

2008-2009 All-Star Special Performance Squad
The 2008-2009 All-Star Special Performance Squad List has been posted on the SYC website within the Cheer Page Section.  The list includes the returning All-Stars and new additions. Please understand this was a very difficult task.  Our All-Star Committee spent more than four hours this Saturday, trying to decide between the girls that have been recommended or expressed interest directly.  So many of the girls are excellent candidates, but we had to limit the number of additions. We are adding more than we initially intended because this was just too difficult to narrow down to just nine. We will maintain a list of the girls that were not selected for this season.  Those cheerleaders will be contacted, should someone drop from the squad during the season and an opening becomes available within their age group.

Please do let your daughters know that this was a difficult decision, all of the cheerleaders interested are extremely qualified for consideration, and will hopefully have an opportunity to join the All-Star Squad at another time.

Enjoy your summer, just around the corner--and we will see many of you for Fall Football!

The 2008-2009 All-Stars will be contacted shortly regarding  a parent meeting, uniforms, and upcoming performances and practices.
