FCPS Football Parents Safety Clinic

Concussion Safety, Injury Identification and Prevention, Treatment, Return to Play

FCPS will host its first concussion safety clinic for parents on Monday, November 3, at Annandale High School. This event will focus on educating parents about player safety in football. The emphasis will be on current practices in education, prevention, identification, treatment and return to play/return to learn.

This clinic is specifically being held for parents with children involved or interested in playing football in the Fairfax County High School or FCYFL programs. 

Per Coach Dick Adams, “This will be an excellent Clinic for all parents especially our youth clubs. At least 1 parent from a family should attend this if at all possible. The concussion presentation by Dr. McGill is worth the entire evening.”

The event will be filmed by News 4 and FCPS.
