Do you remember what it was like playing sports as a kid? Your first home run…an encouraging word from a coach, or the many social outlets and lasting friendships it brought to your life? Some kids may not have the opportunity to experience the joy of youth sports because of recent Fairfax County budget cuts.
Although SYC strives to keep costs low, some parents experiencing a financial hardship cannot pay even the low SYC sports participation fees. SYC has never turned anyone away because of their inability to pay and we don’t intend to start now! That’s why we are asking you to “MAKE THE DIFFERENCE” in these kid’s lives. With your financial gift, you will be providing SYC with the resources it needs to continue to offer quality sports programs for all kids who want to play sports, regardless of their families’ financial situation.
