In 2005, we inaugurated an exciting new sponsorship program, which helps keep registration costs down and ensures that we provide the best possible lacrosse experience for our families. 

The centerpiece of our sponsorship program is the SYC Lacrosse Yearbook.  The Yearbook is distributed to families during the SYC Lacrosse Festival (the weekend after NVYLL’s LAX Day), our end of the season celebration of Lacrosse.  The SYC Lacrosse Yearbook is full of team pictures and rosters, action shots, and candid photos of our players participating in lacrosse activities.  The Yearbook also contains advertisements from our sponsors. 

Sponsors buy ads ranging from a full page ($220) to a business card size ($60).  We also have special sponsorship programs (ranging from $500 to $300), which involve full page ads, listings on the SYC Lacrosse and NVYLL websites, and team plaques for businesses.  Lacrosse families sell the benefits of these advertisements to potential sponsors in our area.  Not only do businesses get excellent exposure, they also get tax deductions!    

Here’s what our SYC Lacrosse players and parents get for their sales:  REDUCED REGISTRATION FEES & A BETTER PROGRAM – Everything we earn from the sponsorship program will be passed on to our SYC Lacrosse families.  TEAM JACKETS – Everyone has been asking about team jackets and here’s how you get one.  EACH member of a team that collectively raises $2,000 will get a free team jacket, with their name embroidered on it!  THE SYC LACROSSE YEARBOOK - we need to raise at least $5,000 overall to be able to produce Year Books, which are distributed free of charge.
