Chris Spera, President of SYC presented Pat Eckert with the Paul Westlein Award at the 2014 Annual Meeting. 

Pat has been a dedicated volunteer with SYC for many years and has volunteered in a number of capacities with Lacrosse and Football. He was elected to the SYC Board of Members in 2009 and served as the SYC Vice President starting in 2013. 

Pat spent many years volunteering with SYC football, in particular. ​He became football commissioner after his son went to high school.  After 2 years of football commissioner, Pat spearheaded the Football Car Raffle and continued to be the financial manager.  

Pat’s family will be moving to Texas in 2014, SYC will miss his dedicated volunteerism both at the sport level and at the club level.
