PRIMARY FIELDS
Capital One Park (1680 Capital One Drive, Mclean, VA NOVA-8D9)
North on Rte. 123 under I-495, left on Capital One Drive, right into parking lot A at main North field. Or, north on Rte. 123 under I-495, left on Scotts Crossing Road, pass parking lot C and pond, left into parking lot B at smaller South/ABCD field. Field users must park in the designated parking lots A, B, or C only. Do not park along the roads leading into or within the facility.
Clarks Crossing (9850 Clarks Crossing Road, Vienna 22182)
From 123/Maple Avenue northbound (towards Tysons Corner), left onto Beulah Rd., left onto Clarks Crossing Rd (be careful of oncoming traffic) to end. Very little parking in spaces; be sure not to block residences.
Colvin Run (Map: NOVA, 7-E5; 1400 Trap Road, Vienna)
From I-495, take Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) past Tysons Corner. Follow 7 West for about 5 miles. Cross over Dulles Toll Road (267). Turn left on Trap Road. Field is near Colvin Run Elementary School on your right at 1400 Trap Road.
Duff McDuff Green Park (75 James Ashby Parkway/Fredericksburg, VA 22405 Map)
From I-95, take exit 133A east towards Falmouth. Continue on Warrenton Road (Business Route 17). Proceed through the traffic light at the intersection with Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1). The road becomes Route 212 (Butler Road). Follow signs for Route 218 east and proceed over the bridge and take a right onto Route 607 at traffic light. Follow Route 607 to intersection with Kings Highway (Business Route 3) and turn left at traffic light. Follow signs for Kings Highway (Route 3) east. Duff Park will be on right side of Route 3. The main field is the one with lights. The other field is for practice and makeup games.
Franconia Park (23-A-8)
Travel East on Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) across I-95 onto Franconia Road (still Route 644). Go past the Springfield Mall on your right and Lee High School on your left. Turn left at the traffic light on Thomas Drive (just before Key Middle School). Go about 6 blocks and turn right on Bowie Drive and go one block to the soccer fields.
From Thomas Drive, can also go about 5 blocks and turn right on Meriwether Lane, and left on Cloud Drive and continue into Park.

Hooes Road (Map: NOVA, 22 F-13; 7233 Hooes Road, Springfield 22150)
From the Parkway (see directions above for Greenspring), turn south on Bonniemill Lane at the traffic light (if you went north you'd turn on Spring Village Drive into Greenspring). Take an immediate left on Hooes Road. Go two blocks and turn right into Hooes Road Park. Fields are beyond the tennis courts -- #2 is on the left, #3 is on the right, #4 is all the way at the back. Parking is being expanded. Porta-Johns available.
Idylwood (Map: NOVA, 15-C; 27715 Virginia Lane, Falls Church 22043)
From 495N, take Rt 7/Leesburg Pike (exit 10 A-B) towards Falls Church/Tysons Corner.
Keep right at the fork in the ramp and merge onto Rt. 7 East towards Falls Church.
Take a right onto Idylwood Rd.
Take a left onto Virginia Lane. Idylwood Park is on right.
Or: 495 North to 66 East to left on Rt 7 (West).
Left on Idylwood Road at traffic light.
Left on Virginia Lane; Idylwood Road is on right.
From Cedar Lane, take a right on Idyllwood Rd.
Proceed to right on Virginia Lane. Idyllwood Park is on right.
Kilmer (8100 Wolftrap Road, Vienna 22182)
From 495, take Exit 10 Route 7 East (Leesburg Pike) towards Falls Church.
Go about 1 mile, turn right on Idyllwood Rd. (You will cross over I-495).
Go about 2 miles and turn right on Gallows Rd.
Proceed 1 block past the next traffice light (Cedar Lane) and turn left on Wolftrap Rd. (Fire Station on corner)
Kilmer Middle School is on the right. Fields are behind the school.
Or
From 495, take Exit 9, I-66 East, Exit 66 Route 7 West (Leesburg Pike) towards Tysons Corner.
Go under I-66, 1 addtional block to left on Idylwood Rd.
Go about 2 miles and turn right on Gallows Rd. (You will cross over I-495)
Proceed 1 block past the next traffice light (Cedar Lane) and turn left on Wolftrap Rd. (Fire Station on corner)
Kilmer Middle School is on the right. Fields are behind the school. about 2 blocks and Turn Left on Wolftrap Rd. (Fire Station on corner).
Lake Braddock Lower (9450 Lake Braddock Drive, Burke 22015) (this is NOT Lake Braddock Secondary or High School)
From 495, take Braddock Road South Exit. Angle left on Burke Lake Road (just before the Kings Park Shopping Center), heading south, and then take a right at the first stoplight past Lake Braddock High School onto Lake Braddock Road. Go about a half a mile. Field is on your right (with a sign). Porta potties.
Lake Braddock Secondary School (9200 Burke lake Road, Burke 22015)
From I-495 - Braddock Road westward, left on Burke lake Road at the traffic light, right into LBSS, fields are on the right. Practice field is to the right of the Stadium as you approach.
From FFX County Pkwy - Braddock Road south/eastward, right on Rolling Road at the traffic light, right on Burke Lake Road at the traffic light, right into LBSS.
From FFX County Pkwy - Burke Lake Road eastward, left into LBSS.
From Rolling Road northward - left on Burke Lake Road, right into LBSS.
Loisdale Park - 7419 Loisdale Road, Springfield, VA
From Loisdale Road, turn east on the right side of Safford Toyota and go to the end of the drive, turn left and go to the end of the drive. The soccer field is over the hill - paved path on left side, but several dirt paths down to the field.
Luther Jackson Middle School - 3020 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042 (Merrifield area)
Primary routes given - many surface streets will also work and may be better on busy Saturdays/Sundays.
From South - I-495 north to Gallows Road exit, left at traffic light at top of ramp, go past Fairfax Inova Hospital, go straight through traffic light at Rt 50, turn left at traffic light on Gatehouse Road, turn right of first access into L J MS parking lot and follow to around field on your left.
From South - I-495 to Rt 50 exit, go west on Rt 50, bear right onto Gallows and immediately get to far left lane, turn left on Gatehouse Road, turn right into L J MS parking lot and follow around field on your left.
From West - Rt 50 to traffic light at Williams Drive, make immediate right on Gatehouse Road paralleling Rt 50, follow to field on left, turn left and follow around field on your left.
From North - Gallows Road past Dunn Loring Metro Station, straight through the traffic light at Rt 29/211 (Merrifield), just past shopping center - turn right into L J MS parking lot on the right, and follow around on the right side of parking lot along the right side of the school to the field in back, or from Gallows Road, right turn on Gatehouse Road, turn right into L J MS parking lot and follow around field on your left.
Porta-potties on field.
Madison High School
Rear entrance provides best access to field: South on Rte. 123, right on Flint Hill Rd. at traffic light, right on Sunrise Rd., dead end at school. Stadium is to the left of the parking lot.
Marshall High School (7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043)
From I495: Exit east on Rte 7 heading toward Falls Church; turn right into Marshall High School at the first drive, go around behind the school to the right.
The first field is the Stadium, the main playing field. Field #1 is accessible from the gate in the corner behind the buses and then going past the Stadium. Both are turf. Porta-potties.
Murphy Field at Dunn Loring Center (2334 Gallows Road, Dunn Loring 22027)
From Rt. 123/Maple Avenue northbound, Right (east) on Park St., left on Cedar Lane, right on Idylwood Rd., left into Center. Parking is prohibited on the grass along Idylwood Rd. Porta potties.
Follow directions to Kilmer -- Murphy Field is at the intersection of Idylwood Road & Gallows Road.
Nottoway (14-D3; 9537 Courthouse Road, Vienna 22181)
From the Beltway take 66 West., Exit to Nutley St North toward Vienna. Left at Courthouse Rd. Left into Nottoway Park. Follow road all the way back, bearing right to field. Restroom available.
OakMarr Recreation Complex (3200 Jermantown Road, Oakton 22124)
From 495 take exit onto I-66 West. Proceed to Exit 60 Rt. 123 North Chain Bridge Road. Toward Vienna and Oakton. Proceed 1/2 mile and turn left on Jermantown Rd. ( Rt. 655). Oak Marr Recreation Complex (3200 Jermantown Rd.) is about 1/2 mile on the right. Turn right at the light at Arrowhead Drive into the complex. Bear left and go past the miniature golf course. Fields are near the back of the parking area. (Bathrooms available at the field.)
Oakton HS #3 (2900 Sutton Road, Vienna 22181)
See map above.
From the north: from Rt 123 (Chain Bridge Rd) turn south on Blake Lane at the traffic lightto left on Sutton Road at the traffic light. Proceed to stop sign and turn left into school. Can park immediately on left or on right side of school building. Field #3 is on hill above the softball field and perpendicular to Sutton Road.
From the north: from Rt 123 turn south on Sutton Road at the traffic light to stop sign at Courthouse Road, proceed straight on Sutton Road to the stop sign, turn right into school. Can park immediately on left or on right side of school buidling. Field #3 is on hill above the softball field.
From the south: from Rt 236 north on Pickett Road at traffic light, cross intersection of Rt 50 at the traffic light, cross the intersection of Rt 29 (Lee highway) at the traffic light, and now on Blake Lane. Proceed several traffic lights on Blake Lane until crossing over I-66 and turning right on Sutton Road at the traffic light. Proceed on Sutton Road to stop signand turn left into school. Follow other info as above.
On some occasions, if Oakton HS or other sports are using the other fields, access to field #3 may ONLY be accessible directly via the stairs and through the gate off Sutton Road. This access is to the north of the school.
Patawomeck Park (25 Chompawamsic Parkway Stafford, Va 22555)
From the north: I95 South to Quantico Exit 148 (the second Quantico exit). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and go about 0.5 mile bearing right onto Route 1 south. About 1 mile south on Route 1, at the second traffic light turn left onto Telegraph Road (Boswell’s Corner traffic light, Chevron, Bella Bagel and several car dealerships near). Proceed on Telegraph Rd about 0.5 mile and turn left on Widewater Road. The park entrance with large sign is on the right about a 0.8 mile down Widewater on Chompawamsic Parkway. Two grass fields with lights. Restrooms.
Can also exit at the first Quantico exit 150A, continue around cloverleaf to Joplin Road (Rt 619) and continue to Route 1. Turn right on Route 1 and in about 2 miles you can follow the directions above (there is at least one additional light on Rt. 1 at the Marine Corps Museum).
Patriot Park (Turf field - Map Reference: ADC Northern Virginia Map 20-A1; 12111 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22030)
From I-66 - Exit onto Fairfax County Parkway (7100) South. Take the Braddock Road exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp, cross under 7100 and field is on the right behind the Mott Community Center.
From Fairfax County Parkway North Bound - Exit onto Braddock Road and drive straight across Braddock Road at the bottom of the ramp into park. Go past the Mott Center continuing to the field.
Pine Ridge Park (3401 Woodburn Road, Annandale 22003)
From the Beltway inner loop, take the Gallows Road exit, turn left onto Gallows Road, and left at the first light onto Woodburn Road. From the Beltway outer loop, take the Gallows Road exit, bear left to go straight through the light onto Woodburn Road. Once on Woodburn Road, go 400 yards. Park is on the left.
From Fairfax City, follow Little River Turnpike (Route 236) east. Take the first left after Prosperity Avenue onto Woodburn Road. At the stop sign, turn right to continue on Woodburn Road. Follow approximately 3 miles. The park is on the right just after the traffic light.
Field #4 is the first field on the left as you enter the parking lot, the only synthetic turf field in the park.
Field #5 is the second field on the left of the parking lot. Porta potties are in the far right corner of the parking lot.
Quantum Field - 7980 Quantum Dr, Vienna, VA 22182
Quantum Drive is off of Gallows Road in the Tysons Corner area, south of Rt 7. Once on Quantum Drive, drive past the field on the left, and entrance is on left up a slight incline to the parking lot.
Robinson SS - 5035 Sideburn Road, Fairfax, VA 22032 (across Braddock Road from George Mason Univ.)
From East - west on Braddock Road, left at traffic light at Sideburn Road, travel about 0.2 miles, left into school access road, proceed to parking lot and turn right, park close to the school.
From the North - south on Rt 123, left turn at the traffic light at Braddock Road, right turn at the traffic light at Sideburn Road, travel about 0.2 miles, left into school access road, proceed to parking lot and turn right, park close to the school.
Robinson Stadium - the main field - adjacent to the main parking lot. Robinson (upper) above the Stadium field and the softball field, access by following an asphalt path to the right past the Stadium field and between the softball and baseball fields until reaching the upper level. Field is actually right off of Sideburn Road, and is usually most accessible from this side via pedestrian gates.
Rolling Valley West (6512 Sydenstricker Road, Burke 22015) Located on Sydenstricker Road just off of Old Keene Mill Road, there are many ways to get there. Some suggestions:
From I-495 (southbound)(outer loop) take Exit 54 Braddock Road west (to avoid downtown Springfield) approximately 2 miles to left on Burke Lake Road at the traffic light. Take Burke Lake Road almost 3 miles to left on Lee Chapel Road at the traffic light. Take Lee Chapel Road approximately 1/2 mile to left on Old Keene Mill Road at the traffic light. Take Old Keene Mill Road approximately 1/3 mile to right on Sydensticker Road at the traffic light. Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW on the right.
From I-95, take Rt 644/Old Keene Mill Road west approximately 5 miles to left on Sydenstricker Road at the traffic light. Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW on the right.
From Fairfax County Parkway, take Rt 644/Old Keene Mill Road east approximately 1 and 1/3 miles to right turn on Sydenstricker Road at the traffic light (you will cross straight over Lee Chapel Road at the traffic light). Take Sydenstricker Road approximately 1/4 mile to RVW on the right.
As you leave the parking lot and walk between the basketball courts and tennis courts, the SYC-RVW field is the upper field on the left. Porta-potties available. No water.
Smith Lake - Stafford County (370 Doc Stone Road Stafford, VA 22556)
From I-95, take exit 143B, follow Garrisonville Rd (Rte 610) west about ¾ mile. At your 3rd light, turn right onto Doc Stone Rd (near Anne Moncure Elementary School). Follow Doc Stone Rd to 4-way stop sign, then continue straight (road bends a little at the stop sign) on Doc Stone Rd for 1 mile until you get to the reservoir and the Park. Parking is limited, so car pool as much as possible. Restroom facilities are available.
South Run 7-D2 (7550 Reservation Drive, Springfield 22153)
From 95 - Take Springfield exit at junction of 495 and 95, which is Old Keene Mill Road (do not go toward Franconia). Stay on Old Keene Mill Road for about 6 miles and turn left on Lee Chapel Road. Follow Lee Chapel until junction of Fairfax County Parkway. Take left on the Fairfax County Parkway and fields are on right.
Or, going west on Old Keene Mill Rd., turn left on Huntsman Blvd. (second light after intersection of Old Keene Mill & Rolling Rd.). Go through one four-way stop (Sydenstricker) and then turn right at the light onto the Fairfax County Parkway. Turn left at the next light into South Run Park.
From northbound 95 - Take Rt. 123 exit north, turn right on Lee Chapel Road, turn right on Fairfax County Pkwy, turn right into South Run Park.
From Fairfax City - Take Route 123 South about 2 or 3 miles and go past Braddock Road. Shortly past Burke Center Parkway, you will turn onto Fairfax County Parkway South which is toward Springfield. Stay on Fairfax County Parkway and just past the intersection of Lee Chapel Road you will see a traffic light with South Run Park on the right.
Field #4 (grass) is the first field on left; Field #5 (turf, w lights) is the second field on left adjacent to parking lot; Field #6 (turf, w lights) is parallel to Field #5, adjacent to woods. Porta potties.
Wakefield (Turf Field - 8100 Braddock Road, Annandale 22003)
From 495, take Exit 54 onto Braddock Rd. West. Take an immediate right into Wakefield Park. Field is behind main recreation building.
from Braddock Road East, turn left into Wakefield Park at light before crossing I-495.
West Springfield High School (WSHS) (Turf Field - 6100 Rolling Road, Springfield 22152)
- From Braddock Road, turn south on Rolling Road, approximately 2 miles to WSHS on the right.
- From 1-95, take Rt 644 West (Old Keene Mill Road) 3 miles to Rolling Road, turn right and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to WSHS on the left.
- From FFX County Parkway, take Rt 644 Old Keene Mill Road approximately 4 miles to Rolling Road, turn left and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to WSHS on the left.
Field is behind the school and upper parking lot. Porta potties available south of the field. Toilets may be available in the school.
Winterset (3911 Woodburn Road, Annandale 22003)
From 495, take Exit 52 onto Rt. 236 West (Little River Turnpike). Go past Northern Virginia Community College and turn right on Woodburn Rd. (just a block before Prosperity Ave.). Turn right into Fairfax County Police sub-station. Field is behind Police station. You may go through the parking lot to the field.
Willowmere Park (21 Willowmere Pond Road, Stafford, VA 22554)
From I-95 south, take exit 143B (west toward Garrisonville) and continue on Garrisonville Road (Rte. 610) for about 5 milesand turn left onto Joshua Road (Rte 643). Take Joshua Road to a "T" intersection with Mountain View Road (Rte. 627). Turn right onto Mountain veiw Road and proceed approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Willowmere Pond Road and then turn right into Willowmere Park. Turn left when in the part to reach the parking lot and soccer fields (the soccer fields are in the back of the complex to the left of the baseball fields). If you reach the intersection of Mountain View Road and Poplar Road (Rte 616, you went about 1 mile west beyond Willowmere Pond Road. DO NOT PARK ON WILLOWMERE POND ROAD. (Limited cell phone reception in this area - beward. Also, plan for traffic on I-95 accordingly.)
Woodson East (4000 Picket Road)
Woodson East is the large fenced-in grass soccer field between Frost Middle School and the Woodson High School Stadium. It is most easily accessed by parking at Frost and walking behind the school and down the hill.
Woodson High School (9525 Main Street [Rt. 236], Fairfax, VA 22031)
Woodson High School – Stadium: 4105 Whitacre Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032. Whitacre Road is on the right (west) side of Woodson HS as you look from Main Street. There is a traffic light at the intersection of Main and Whitacre. Entrance to the Stadium turf field is located on the left, at the end of the Whitacre Road parking lot farthest from the school, directly behind the walk-through Cavaliers entrance arch and Pat Cunningham building.
Woodson High School – West Field (Woodson West): 4105 Whitacre Rd, Fairfax, VA. The West field is located adjacent and parallel to the Whitacre Road parking lot, between the school buildings and the entrance for the Stadium field. Access to the field is through the fence at the north end of the field (closest to the school buildings). Porta-potty located near blue shed at entrance gate.
OTHER FIELDS
Canterbury Woods Elementary
From Beltway Take Exit 52A-B towards Fairfax onto Little River Turnpike.
Proceed 1 mile, turn left onto Wakefield Chapel Rd.
Proceed 1 mile (?), turn right on Braeburn Drive.
Turn left on Pontiac Drive. (Pontiac Swim Club on right)
Pontiac turns into Willet Dr. School at end of street.
Dunn Loring
From the Springfield mixing bowl, take 495 West (toward Tysons Corner).
Take exit 50B (Gallows Road toward Fairfax Hospital).
Stay on Gallows Road till hyou reach Idylwood Road (Rte 695).
Turn left on Idlywood Road.
Turn right into school parking lot -- fields are on the left.
Or
From 495, take Exit 10 Route 7 East (Leesburg Pike) towards Falls Church. Go about 1 mile, turn right on Idylwood Rd. (You will cross over I-495). Go about 2 miles, field is on right just past Gallows Rd. (You will cross over I-495)
Or
From 495, take Exit 9, I-66 East toward the next exit, Exit 66 Route 7 West (Leesburg Pike) towards Tysons Corner. Go under I-66, 1 additional block to left on Idylwood Rd. Go about 2 miles, field is on right just past Gallows Rd. (You will cross over I-495)
Garrisonville Elementary
From Capital Beltway
Take Exit 57A onto I95 South towards Richmond. Proceed 26 miles on I 95 South.
Take Exit 143B (Va-610 West) towards Garrisonville.
Proceed 4 miles on Garrisonville Rd. (Va-610West), turn left on Furnace Rd.
Proceed to end of Furnace Rd., turn right onto Choptank, then turn right onto Wood Dr.
School is on Left
Marshall Road Elem
From Interstate 66 take exit 62 North onto Nutley St. (Rt. 243)
School will be on your immediate right.
Take a right onto Marshall Rd (1st stoplight)
Take immediate right onto access Rd oin front of the school.
Follow into parking lot. Field is behind the school.
Pratt Park
From I-95 South, take exit 133A East towards Falmouth, on Route 17 (Warrenton Road - Business Route). Take Route 17 East for approx. 1 1/2 miles to the traffic intersection at Jefferson Davis Hwy (Route 1). Turn right at light onto Route 1 and immediately turn right onto Cambridge Street (Make sure you do not cross the Rappahannock River Bridge). Follow Cambridge Street down along Route 1 for approx two blocks to a sharp left curve going under Route 1. Cambridge Street turns into River Road at this point. Follow River Road for approx. 1 mile to the entrance to John Lee Pratt Memorial Park on the left. Parking is right up the hill once you enter the park on the right.
Additionally, there are real bathroom facilities located at the park.
Sherando Park (Bathrooms available at the field)
From Rt. 66 Travel West on 66 to the Front Royal Exit. At Exit travel north on Rt. 522 for approx 8 miles to Dinosaur Land on your left at a stoplight.
At the stoplight turn left onto Rt 277 and travel approx 4 miles to the soccer fields on left.
Sherando Park is on your left. Follow signs to the Soccer Fields.
