Springfield South County Youth Club

The SYC Football program has provided fundamental instruction in the game of football for over 35 years.  This is accomplished through an emphasis on sportsmanship, team play, self-discipline, maximum effort, integrity, and maximum participation. We have players from the West Springfield, Lee, Hayfield, Lake Braddock and South County high school boundaries but the program is open to anyone in Fairfax County. The success of our program is driven by the level of commitment and support provided by our volunteer coaches, players, parents, volunteers, and community that goes above and beyond the average youth program.

Our club provides an opportunity for beginners to experienced players from age 6 (rookie program) to age 16.  Except for the rookie program which accommodates 6-7 yr olds, all others must conform to the Age/Weight Matrix as approved by the Fairfax County Youth Football League.
