Rugby players love to play in the rain*, but until we own our own fields we have to follow the Fairfax County Park Authority’s decision about field closures. So, when in doubt, check the FCPA fields hotline at 703-324-5264 or their web site.  No update on weekends. If the fields are open, or it’s the weekend, assume that practice or games will go on as scheduled.  Any further decision about cancellation will be made at the field based on current weather and field conditions.  (Remember those local variations and the fact that summer storms move fast!)
