Gonzaga Rugby Camp

Gonzaga College High School’s rugby program will host its annual "Purple Eagle" rugby camp in late July.

• Camp for young or beginning players ages 11-16 will be held Tue July 29 through Fri August 1, 9:30-3:30 daily. Cost is $225 if paid by July 15, $250 after.
• The High Performance Rugby Academy for players ages 17-19 will be held Thu July 31 through Sat August 2. Timing is 6:00-8:30pm on Thu/Fri, and 9:30-11:30 & 1-3 on Sat. Cost is $125 if paid by July 17, $150 after.

SYC Ruggers Get Taste of British Skill

June 28 -- A combined team of SYC Rugby U-17 and U-19 players fought bravely but ultimately were no match for a fitter and more experienced team of British military students, who were on a 10-day tour of the Washington area.  We did score 2 tries, though!

U-19 Team Takes 3rd Place at Rugby Virginia Championships

June 7 -- The SYC West End U-19 team beat Western Loudoun 28-10 to take 3rd place at the Rugby Virginia Championships, held at South County HS. NOVA beat Western Suburbs in the title game.
