U-19 Team - SYC West End Rugby

West End Joins SYC - Spring 2008 - West End is now part of SYC Rugby in a win-win for both. SYC West End participates in the new Rugby Virginia league, comprised solely of Virginia high school/U-19 teams. League play will culminate in the first-ever Virginia state rugby championship in early June.

National Guard Sponsorship - The Virginia National Guard is sponsoring Rugby Virginia and its teams--including SYC West End--for the Spring 2008 season. Click for more info.

Updates & Info

3rd Place Finish -- June 8: SYC West End beat Western Loudoun 28-10 at the Rugby Virginia championships to take 3rd place overall.

Practices -- Tue & Thu - 4:00-5:30 at Hooes Road Park. If Hooes Rd Park is closed due to weather, we practice at The Ditch.

Fields / Weather Status -- Thursday June 5, 2008: tbd.

Fairfax County fields status is available on 703-324-5264 or FCPA web site. Updated by 3pm Mon-Fri. No update on weekends, so those decisions will be made at the field based on current weather and field conditions. (Read our inclement weather policy.)
