The spring SYC Volleyball program offers programs for both boys and girls in grades 4 – 12:
League 1 - High school - coed league. This league is for youth in high school, grades 9 - 12. If numbers permit, teams are divided into two groups based on experience. Those with more experience are grouped together in Group 1 and those with less experience are grouped together in group 2. The league is co-ed and boys are assigned to teams in Group 1. If the number of players registered is too small for two groups, then one group is formed.
League 2 - Middle School - girls only league. This league is for girls in middle school, grades 7 and 8.
League 3 - Elementary School – boys and girls league. This league is for girls and boys in elementary school, grades 5 and 6. The boys are grouped together on the same team.
League 4 - Middle school - boys only league. This league is for boys in middle school, grades 7 though 8. However, if there are not enough boys to form 3 or more teams, the boys teams will play in league 2, with the girls middle school teams.
Clinics - Elementary school, boys and girls - The clinic is for boys and girls in the 4th grade. It is not a league, but a series of training sessions designed to introduce 4th graders to volleyball.
Register Early!! Registration begins in January and continues until the end of February or until the positions are filled.
