Application

Submission Instructions

Applications are submitted via our Demosphere registration system. 

If you have not registered with SYC for sometime, you may need to create an account with us in order to apply. After you click the "Application" button, just click "Create New User Account".

You will be required to provide the following information when submitting your application. Be sure to have this information ready before applying:

  1. High School Info and College Application Status

    • Provide your current high school and GPA. List your top three college choices and application status.

  2. Community Volunteer Activities

    • List up to 3 of your top  community volunteer activities that are the most meaningful to you (this can include but is not limited to volunteer activities at school, including school service hours, as part of a team, through religious and community organizations as well as individual work). List activity/role, organization, dates, and supervisors' name(s). 

  3. SYC Sports Participation

    • Identify SYC Sports and number of seasons played.

  4. Personal Essay

    • Tell us in an essay containing no more than 500 words what you have learned through your involvement in youth sports and in your volunteer work that has helped you contribute in a meaningful way to your community.
      • You'll want to have your essay prepared ahead of time and saved as a PDF document.
      • Do not put your name on the document. The Scholarship Committee reviews submissions and are only provided unique identifiers to keep submissions anonymous to our reviewers. 

You will register as a "Participant". 

You must be a current 12th grader to be eligible. The application option will not show up for anyone who is not in 12th grade.

Select "GA Scholarship Award - Spring 2023".

Complete your application.

Be sure to click the "Finish and Return to Dashboard" button in order to submit the finished application.
