2019 Paul VI Volleyball Developmental Summer Camps
A great way to start the summer is to attend the Paul VI Developmental Camp. Our developmental camp is geared towards GIRLS & BOYS between the ages of 8 and 14 (3rd—9th grade) who are just beginning and/or learning this great sport. Players will be divided into groups based on skill level to enhance learning.
We believe the best way to enjoy volleyball is to master the fundamentals. Our camp is focused on this goal. We will teach our campers the proper way to pass, set, serve, hit and dig through demonstrations and lots of repetitions. We will do our best to do this is a manner that is both fun and successful. We love volleyball, we play hard and we truly enjoy helping young players become the PVI players of tomorrow.
A typical evening looks like this:
- Warmup: fun activity that gets them ready for the evening.
- Skill demonstrations
- Skill drills & repetitions
- Team drills
- Competitions
- Cool down: fun activity to bring camp to a close
- Evening awards
