Season Dates

Start Date:   

  • U5 Cubs: September 9 or September 11, depending on selection at registration.
  • U6 and Up:
    • Practices can begin starting Mid to Late August 2024, depending on coach availability
    • First Games – September 7 (Tentative)

End Date:

  • U5 Cubs: October 19 or October 21 depending on selection at registration.
  • U6 and Up: Early November

Early Bird through May 18

  • U5 Soccer Cubs (Coed) ($180) Includes shirt and ball
  • U6-U19 ($145)

On-time: May 19 - July 31

  • U5  Soccer Cubs (Coed) ($180) Includes shirt and ball
  • U6-U19  ($155)

Late: August 1 - Until Capacity Reached.

  • U5 Soccer Cubs (Coed) ($180) Includes shirt and ball
  • U6-U19  ($175)

$10 2nd child discount; $20 3rd child discount in same program - Does not apply with U5 Cubs and Rec Soccer combination. 

Days/Times

Practices:

  • U5 Soccer Cubs: Tuesdays (Select 5PM or 6PM during registration)
  • U-6 and U-7 REC teams are limited to one 1-hour practice per week, early evenings. 5PM or later, in general, start times should be no later than 7PM
  • U-8, U-9, and U-10 REC teams are limited to two 1-hour practices per week, early evenings. 5PM or later, in general, start times should be no later than 7PM
  • U-11 and above REC teams may have two 1-1/2 hour sessions per week, early evenings. 5PM or later, in general, start times should be no later than 7PM

Day/time/location is selected by coaches in August.

Games:

  • U5 Soccer Cubs: Saturday Scrimmages, Time 9AM.
  • U6 and Up: Saturdays. Game schedule available late-August
  • U13-U19: Some Sunday games are possible.

Uniform Fee

$40 + $1.50 service fee - Includes two soccer shirts and two pairs of soccer socks. (1 white, 1 blue) These uniforms can be used for subsequent seasons.

Players will purchase their Capelli uniform separately under "SOCCER (RECREATIONAL UNIFORM ORDER) | FALL 2024" in PlayMetrics. UNIFORM ORDER REGISTRATION

JERSEY NUMBERS:

For U6-U11 Players: SYC will assign your player's jersey number.

For U12-U19 Players: If you had a prior SYC uniform set and would like to use the same number that was on your jersey, we will try to accommodate you with your past number; however, we cannot guarantee it. Duplicate numbers are not permitted for players on the same team in NCSL, therefore we will need to ensure that there are no duplicates.

SIZING: Sizing charts are provides during registration and shown below to help you determine the correct jersey and socks sizes for your player. We have sample sizes available in the office! Please feel free to stop by during offices hours to see the sample sizes. Deadline for any sizing changes is August 1st.

PLEASE NOTE: To the extent possible, teams are formed from players living in the same general neighborhood. Because of the large number of children in the REC program, SYC can not guarantee consideration of special requests for placement, coaches or teams. Issues such as carpools, day care, work schedules, etc., should be worked out by the individual parents.
