• Games are mostly on Saturday, some can be on Sunday.

Games ARE played the first weekend of FCPS spring break, so plan accordingly. There are no games on Easter weekend or Memorial Day weekend.

Boys 8U - 14U - 08/31/2020 to 03/15/2010 The following age groupings are determined for Spring 2026 competition:

►14U: Birth years between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013.*
►12U: Birth years between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015.
►10U: Birth Years between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017.
► 8U: Birth Years between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2019. (House League – not NVYLL)

*8th and 9th graders who do not turn 15 before 3/15/26 can play.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Full boys lacross equipment is available for rent from SYC for the spring season. $35 Rental Fee to rent equipment from SYC Lacrosse. Register Here for Equipment. Select "Lacrosse (Equipment) Rentals" for your child.

$200 hold check required to take equipment. Check is returned upon return of equipment, clean and undamaged, aside normal wear and tear.

IMPORTANT: You must be issued a uniform number by lacrosse before you can purchase a uniform.  You do not get to pick your uniform number. As long as your register on-time, you will be re-issued your same uniform number as the prior season. 

HOW DO I FIND MY UNIFORM NUMBER?

Once your player is registered, the player will be placed on a generic team for his age group in order for you to view his uniform number.  The commissioner will begin assigning numbers at the end of January or beginning of February. (note: final team assignments occur AFTER evaluations). To view your player’s number:

Download the PlayMetrics app and log in with the same email/password you used to register.

• Click “Teams”
• Click Summary, then select Roster
• Find your player in the list of players
• The uniform number will be displayed under the player’s name.

If you do not see a uniform number after the first week of February, email Lacrosse@sycva.com to obtain a number.

Uniforms are purchased separately from registration at the SYC LAX Store. If you do not have an SYC Lacrosse uniform from last season that fits, you need to purchase a uniform.  

There are sizing charts on the SYC LAX Store for uniform items. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure correct sizing.  You MUST order the right size as there are NO EXCHANGES.***

Required:  Uniform Top and Shorts.

Optional Items may also be available for purchase.
