All players must be attending a school that feeds into one of our NVYLL high school pyramids based on their home address:

Evaluations starting in late February 2025 (Pending field availability/weather conditions)

Games begin in late March 2025. 

END DATE

Late May timeframe for post season playoff games.

Games are mostly on Sunday, some can be on Saturday. 

Games ARE played the first weekend of FCPS spring break, so plan accordingly! There are no games on Easter weekend or Memorial Day weekend.

GIRLS – Grades K – 8

AGE GROUPS (Grades as of Fall 2024)

• Grades K-2 Girls K, 1 and 2
• Grades 3-4 Girls 3 and 4
• Grades 5-6 Girls 5 and 6
• Grades 7-8 Girls 7 and 8 (some 9th graders*)

*9th grade girls who are still 14 on August 31 preceding competition may play for the G78 grade bracket, as long as they are not playing on a high school team.

• Grades 3 – 8 - $200

• Grades K-2 - $180
• Grades 3 – 8 - $220

• Grades K-2 - $200
• Grades 3 – 8 - $240

IMPORTANT: You must be issued a uniform number by lacrosse before you can purchase a uniform.  You do not get to pick your uniform number. As long as your register on-time, you will be re-issued your same uniform number as the prior season. 

HOW DO I FIND MY UNIFORM NUMBER?

Once your player is registered, the player will be placed on a generic team for his age group in order for you to view her uniform number. The commissioner will begin assigning numbers at the end of January or beginning of February. To view your player’s number:

Download the PlayMetrics app and log in with the same email/password you used to register.

• Click “Teams”
• Click Summary, select Roster
• Find your player in the list of players
• The uniform number will be displayed under the player’s name.

If you don't see your player listed within a week of registering, contact admin@sycva.com.

If you do not see a uniform number by the first week of February, email Lacrosse@sycva.com to obtain a number.

If you don't have an SYC lacrosse  uniform from this past season that fits, you will need to buy a new uniform. 

Uniforms are purchased separately from registration at the SYC LAX Store. If you do not have an SYC Lacrosse uniform from last season that fits, you need to purchase a uniform.  

There are sizing charts on the SYC LAX Store. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure correct sizing and correct assigned uniform number.  You MUST order the right size with the correct assigned uniform number as there are NO EXCHANGES, no returns, and no refunds. All sales are final.
