Fall 2023 Registration opens mid-April 2023.

IMPORTANT:  Don't miss out on SYC Tackle Football communications!  Check your Spam/Junk folder & make sure football@sycva.com is a trusted address within your email provider settings!  Stay informed by subscribing to The Torch, SYC's weekly digest.

SYC is a member of the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL), along with fifteen other youth clubs.  FCYFL is an age/weight based league.  Team placement is determined by BOTH age & weight, not age alone.   Age/Weight Matrix details can be found here.  The football season runs Aug-Nov.

Players must have a government issued ID card (e.g. Virginia DMV ID card) that displays their picture, name, local address, & date of birth.  A school ID card that displays this information is sufficient (e.g. FCPS SIS ParentVUE).   Neither a Passport nor military ID will be accepted by FCYFL.

The ID card is not needed for equipment issue, Preseason Camp, nor practices.  The ID is only used once, at a mandatory FCYFL weigh-in.  Players weigh-in one time only.
