Join SYC Basketball for some pre-season skills clinics this fall!

For players in grades K-3, these clinics will introduce players to basic basketball skills and fundamentals in a fun learning environment. TYS Coaches will lead teams of 8-10 and coaches through drills based on basketball dynamics.

  • Dribbling, Ball Handling, Passing, Shooting, Defense & spacing, Offense & spacing.
  • Team Coaches will assist.
  • Basketball Dynamic Checklist provided.
  • 3 on 3 games played last 2 weeks.

For our 4th - 6th graders, clinics will be designed to help players improve their skills and prep for County Basketball tryouts.  TYS Coaches will lead teams of 8-10 and coaches through drills based on basketball dynamics.

  • Team Coaches will assist.

  • 3 on 3 games played last 2 weeks.

For our 7th-8th graders, clinics will work on skill development and introduce players to the high school level coaching. These clinics will be a great opportunity to prep for high school tryouts and/or County Basketball tryouts.

Registration Fee

Grades K-3 Clinics | Grades 4-6 Clinics | Grades 7-8 Clinics

  • $185 (for 5 weeks, 1 session a week)

Season Dates/Times

Grades K-3 (Dates/Times):
  • Dates:  Tuesdays, Sep 10, 17, 24, Oct 1st and 8th. 
  • Time : 6PM-7PM
Grades 4-6 (Dates/Times):
  • Dates: Tuesdays, Sep 10, 17, 24, Oct 1st and 8th. 
  • Time: 7:15PM-8:15PM
Grades 7-8:  
  • Dates: Wednesdays, Sept 4, 11, 18, 25 and Oct 2.
  • Times:
    • 6PM-7PM (Intermediate)
    • 7:30PM-8:30PM (Advanced)
No weekends.

Location

Grades K-3, 4-6: Hunt Valley Elementary School gym

Grades 7-8: Garfield Elementary School gym

What To Bring

  • Labeled Basketball
  • Labeled Water Bottle

What to Wear

  • Tennis shoes with non-marking soles
  • Comfortable clothing (t-shirt, shorts)  appropriate for playing basketball.
