Join SYC Basketball for some pre-season skills clinics this fall!

For players in grades K-3, these clinics will introduce players to basic basketball skills and fundamentals in a fun learning environment. TYS Coaches will lead teams of 8-10 and coaches through drills based on basketball dynamics.

  • Dribbling, Ball Handling, Passing, Shooting, Defense & spacing, Offense & spacing.
  • Team Coaches will assist.
  • Basketball Dynamic Checklist provided.
  • 3 on 3 games played last 2 weeks.

For our 4th - 6th graders, clinics will be designed to help players improve their skills and prep for County Basketball tryouts.  TYS Coaches will lead teams of 8-10 and coaches through drills based on basketball dynamics.

  • 3 on 3 games played last 2 weeks.

For our 7th-9th graders, clinics will work on skill development and introduce players to the high school level coaching. These clinics will be a great opportunity to prep for high school tryouts and/or County Basketball tryouts.

Registration Fee

Grades K-3 Clinics | Grades 4-6 Clinics | Grades 7-9 Clinics

  • $185 (for 5 weeks, 1 session a week)

Season Dates/Times

Beginner Session (for players with fewer than 4 seasons of experience)

Dates: Sept 9, 16, 30 | Oct 7, 14

Day: Tuesdays

  • Grades K–3: 6:00–7:00 PM
  • Grades 4–6: 7:15–8:15 PM

 

Advanced Session (for players with 5+ seasons of experience)

Dates: Sept 10, 17, 24 | Oct 1, 8

Day: Wednesdays

  • Grades 4–6: 6:00–7:00 PM
  • Grades 7–9: 7:15–8:15 PM

What To Bring

  • Labeled Basketball
  • Labeled Water Bottle

What to Wear

  • Tennis shoes with non-marking soles
  • Comfortable clothing (t-shirt, shorts)  appropriate for playing basketball.
