The strength of our program starts with passionate and committed leaders—just like you. Whether you're a seasoned coach, a former athlete, or a parent looking to get more involved, we welcome you to join the VA Lady Legends family. We're currently accepting volunteers for the roles of Head Coach, Associate Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager across all age groups.
Our coaching staff plays a vital role in developing confident, resilient, and skilled athletes—both on and off the field. By volunteering, you’ll help foster a positive and competitive environment while gaining access to training clinics, mentoring opportunities, and the satisfaction of shaping the next generation of softball players.

As part of our commitment to coaching excellence, ALL of our Head and Associate coaches are provided with a membership to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA)—fully supported by the SYC Travel Softball program. This ensures that our staff stays current with the latest strategies, safety standards, and development tools in the game.
We also support coaches in obtaining their CPR certification, because we believe safety comes first. And if you’re a high school or college player, we welcome you to coach with us to earn school credit or volunteer hours while making an impact in your community.
