SYC Cross Country offers a full-length season beginning in late August with summer running conditioning and Fall Cross Country begins in early September. Cross country is a great compliment to any sport that also requires running or endurance. Athletes in grades K - 8 will have several opportunities throughout the season to race distances between 1K and 5K based on their age and comfort level.
We teach athletes proper form, basic running skills, and hone in on the skills needed for endurance running.
Runners will have practices once or twice a week with meets on Saturdays or Sundays.
