The ID Sessions are open to ALL players regardless of club affiliation.
ID Sessions are important for identifying players for the SYC Girls Academy pathway, which includes GA (Tier one) and the newly introduced GA Aspire (Tier two).
The ID sessions are intended for elite players born between 2013-2007 new to SYC Soccer, with the skill, determination, soccer intelligence and focus to play at the highest level.
All Players will be invited to the SYC Girls Academy & SYC GA2 ID Sessions. We will be having IDs on rolling basis with players invited to training sessions and we will also have an OPEN Tryout/ID Sessions for all age groups .

More than 1,200 GA players have committed to college soccer programs.
Additionally, GA has strong partnerships with college recruiting platforms, including ScoutingZone and Veo, which provide players with video analysis and direct exposure to college coaches. The college pathway is a multifaceted journey where college coaches strive to recruit the players they feel can most positively impact their programs. Top college programs attend all GA events and the relationship NVA has with college coaches will continue to provide great exposure .
All GA Mid-Atlantic Away league Games are only Day Trips. No need for overnight/hotel stay for GA away League games (ex: drive there in morning, play at 12pm and come back home in the afternoon- Furthest away trip 4+ hrs that is just 1x per year)

Periodized schedule to focus on development and reduce the risk of injury and maximize team performance (Led by Director of SYC Sports Performance - Pablo Amaya - DC United First Team Performance Coach)
Performance training with periodic physical testing and evaluation
Formal and informal individual player development plans and evaluations.

Professional and experienced licensed coaching staff
Coaching staff will have college experience to help players with the recruitment process but will also have support from the SYC GA Director of College Placement (Current College Head Coach)
Certified Performance Coaches who track individual player progress and conduct seasonal fitness testing to tailor performance training needs of all players.
US Soccer Scouts attend regional matches, national events, nationally held Talent ID sessions, as well as practice sessions
Yes. Players are allowed to play other sports. SYC GA supports players who play basketball, volleyball, softball, track, and other sports.
