SYC is a proud participant of the Adopt a Highway program. We are responsible for a stretch of road near the SYC Office. Our scheduled fall clean up day is Monday, September 25 from 1PM-3PM. This is a student holiday for FCPS.
This is a great opportunity for the kiddos to get their community service hours done. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
Items to Bring:
- Water bottle
- Comfortable shoes
- Work gloves (we also have latex gloves)
Volunteers will meet outside at the intersection of Loisdale and Newington Road near the train overpass.
