2x/week, 90-mins a session...permits are Sun, Wed, and Fri.  First practices:

- Sun, 8/27, 4:00-5:30pm @ Lewis High School

- Wed, 8/30, 6:00-7:30pm @ Halley Elementary School

No experience needed -- we're always looking for new players!

Girls U16 & 18U will begin training o/a 8/21 and compete in local and regional 7s Tournaments late Sep-Oct. Schedule details are in work.  

Girls U12 & U14 are invited to train with Girls U16 & 18U; potential 7s Tournaments are being explored to align with Girls U16 & 18U events.

Players should bring water, mouth guard, nutrition, ball, and practice jersey. Cleats are recommended.

New players will receive a ball.

Full club (boys & girls, all ages) skills & fitness session dates: 10/15, 10/22, 11/5, 11/12, 12/2, 12/10, 12/17

Old Glory DC, NOVA Women, NOVA Men, and West End Alums have all agreed to “guest coach” club sessions...it should be a lot of fun!

High School Girls (U16 & 18U) may register with SYC prior to registering with USA Rugby but will need to provide their USA Rugby number to rugby@sycva.com before they can participate in West End/SYC Rugby.

ALL OTHER PLAYERS MUST REGISTER WITH USA RUGBY PRIOR TO REGISTERING WITH WEST END/SYC RUGBY. You will include the USA Rugby number during West End/SYC registration.

USA Rugby Registration opens 8/21.  To register with USA Rugby, go to https://xplorer.rugby/west-end-syc-rugby and follow the prompts. If you are a returning player, the system should find your account with your email address.

Of note, USA Rugby Registration covers fall 2023 as well as spring & summer 2024.  You won't need to do pay for this again during registration for those future seasons.  

IMPORTANT: FIT Touch/Tag players choose Registration Type: Rookie Rugby or FLAG Rugby.
